What we care for
Antenatal Care
Pre-conception, pregnancy and postpartum care are important aspects of both women's and men's health. Our doctors are well-versed in managing early pregnancy and postpartum care. Whether you are planning or actively trying to conceive, it is recommended you see your GP to optimise your health.
Children's Health
We happily see children of all ages, and made provisions during the pandemic to examine children safely no matter the presentation, ensuring continuity of care for the community. Teenagers are welcome to book appointments on their own with a doctor of their choosing at all times.
Immunisations
Our doctors and nurses are highly trained in immunisation advice for all life stages. We administer all vaccines in the National Immunisation Program and stock most travel and work vaccines. Patients 65 and over may be eligible for government-funded pneumococcal or shingles vaccines.
Skin Checks
Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. Our GPs can assess your skin cancer risk and any current areas of concern. If you have noticed any changing or worrying skin lesions, make an appointment for review.
Wound Care
Our experienced practice nurses and doctors have extensive training in simple and complex wound care. We manage acute and chronic wounds, suture wounds and provide post-operative wound reviews.
Mental Health
1 in 5 Australians has experienced a mental health disorder in the previous 12 months. Patients with a diagnosed mental health disorder may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan, allowing up to 10 individual psychological sessions per calendar year with Medicare rebates. Please book a double appointment to discuss.
Travel Medicine
We are a specialised travel health clinic offering travel consults, vaccines and travel packs in case of illness. For complex travel vaccines and yellow fever, Dr Michael Long at our sister clinic Fountain Gate Medical Centre offers specialised travel consults.
Men's Health
Our doctors are experienced in managing conditions which significantly impact men's health, including erectile dysfunction, prostate disease and cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes.
Women's Health
From pre-conception to contraception advice (including Implanon insertion/removal and Mirena removal) through to menopause management. Cervical screening is now a 5-yearly test and can be done as a self-collection test. We are happy to accommodate requests to see a female GP.
Iron Infusions
If oral iron supplementation has not been effective at improving low iron levels, an iron infusion can be considered. Low iron can cause tiredness and affect your ability to function. Book a consultation to determine whether an iron infusion is appropriate for you.
Implanon Insertion
The Implanon is a contraceptive implant inserted under local anaesthetic into the upper arm. It lasts 3 years, is more effective than tubal ligation, and is immediately reversible on removal.

Pregnancy is an exciting and transformative period marked by significant changes, needing a trusted medical team to guide your journey. Dr Su Htwe and Dr Srabonti Hazra have undertaken further postgraduate studies in pregnancy care to support women and their families through this time.
What is antenatal shared care?
Shared care means sharing your antenatal care between hospital doctors and midwives and the same GP throughout your pregnancy and into your postpartum period. Dr Su and Dr Srabonti are accredited by the Monash Health network to provide these specialised services — so you see one doctor but can choose to deliver at a local hospital.

Who is suitable for shared care?
Women at low risk of pregnancy complications are suitable for shared care. This includes:
- Generally healthy women with no significant medical history
- BMI greater than 17 and less than 35
- No more than one past history of caesarean section
At your first pregnancy visit, our doctors will discuss whether shared care is suitable for you.
